…for making The Plus One their book of the month for August. This meant I went into their offices on High St Ken yesterday to record a podcast, out next Monday. And apart from one bit about Helen Mirren which will need to be removed for legal reasons, I don’t think I said anything disastrous. So that’s good.

Am doing a few podcasts and radio shows over the next couple of weeks, and have written various pieces for various places which will be coming out in stages too. Saying ‘it’s exciting’ isn’t enough. It’s a DREAM and am spectacularly grateful for it all. Although – equally – am being incredibly vain. I keep looking at publicity photos of me and thinking ‘Who is that poor old lady who looks like she needs to sleep for 100 years?’
