I feel like I can’t keep writing ‘columns’ as the boring old header for these posts so the above relates to last week’s Standard col HERE. The picture’s of Kelburn Castle, the place I mention in the col, owned by the Earl of Glasgow. Pretty extraordinary, right? It sits on a hill near the sea (technically the Firth of Clyde), and while I was visiting, a huge submarine briefly surfaced before dropping back down again. The whole visit felt like a psychedelic dream. As did quite a few interviews I did for Tatler, tbf.
