The Wish List

I wrote number three after working in one of London’s loveliest bookshops. It’s called John Sandoe and it’s in Chelsea – a wonderful, higgledy-piggledy place where you can spend hours browsing and nobody will bother you.

So, this book, published in 2020, is set in a bookshop and it’s a Cinderella tale about poor old Florence, my heroine, who’s never had a boyfriend and lives with her much more glamorous, outgoing step-sisters.

And then one day, after Florence reluctantly agrees to go and see a love coach called Gwendolyn, who should wonder into this bookshop but a handsome, charming man who likes reading. Is he the answer to all her prayers? It’s also a handy guide to why dating politicians is a very bad idea.
